Hej friend!
We're Evelyne and Frank, and we live a slow life in a fast house, a 1992 Volkswagen LT. It's a café on wheels that opens wherever we park, serving local and seasonal pastries and coffee to friends. Yes, we do everything a café does.
While we both love drawing lattes just as much, Evelyne illustrates and writes with a heart for wildlife and warm purpose. Frank crafts electronics, most passionately keeping our solar-powered café running and the fresh pastries coming.

Between café stops and winding roads, Evelyne fills her sketchbooks with the animals we meet along the way. What begins as a little sketch finds a home at The Ground Squirrel Studio, where these encounters are turned into art, from posters and stickers to so much more.

Building a Camper Van Water System: Fresh Water, Filters and Waste Water
How the water system in our campervan works - fresh water tank, Alb Filter filtration, pressure pump and underfloor waste water tank. With a full parts list, filter service intervals and everything we have learned about drinking water on the road. Built into our VW LT35, but it fits any camper or motorhome.
